Front Desk Coordinator

Wanted: We could have run a boring old “front desk coordinator and office assistant” type of ad, but we're not looking for just any " front desk coordinator and office assistant." That's not how we do things here.

We're looking for our next "Rock-Star Team Member" - someone who has a service-oriented frame of mind even before they've had their coffee; someone who enjoys learning something new every day, but also can manage the routine work that must be done to keep our cases moving forward; and someone who is motivated by their desire do the highest quality work in order to serve our clients.

About Us: We are relaxed, easy-going, and sometimes even humorous. We design and create estate plans, help administer estates when people pass away, and close real estate transactions for clients we like and clients who like us. We take our work seriously – however, we don't take ourselves too seriously. We're known for top-shelf client service, accessibility, and providing peace of mind to our clients and their loved ones, not to mention being outstanding at what we do.

We are located at the Hathorne Office Park in Danvers conveniently near Route 95 on Route 1.

About You: You are instantly likable and establish rapport effortlessly. You are comfortable doing, or learning, everything from greeting clients at the door, to juggling the main phone and email, to scanning incoming mail, to assisting with potential new clients and initial consultations, to doing the mind-numbing stuff that comes with every job. You understand that a law firm handles confidential information and can abide by the ethical requirements of the position. You’re great with technology (a Macintosh, not Windows) and can take a project from start to finish with minimal supervision. You can handle frequent interruptions without an audible sigh and you can smile politely as the attorney asks you to reschedule a meeting for the third time. You can get excited about what we do because of the difference we make for our clients. Extra points if you can make people smile as soon as they walk in our door!

Our Ideal Candidate: Our ideal candidate is a well-rounded, customer service oriented individual, eager to please and put our clients at ease. Law office experience is not required, but we these are the keys skills that our ideal candidate has mastered:

  • Written and verbal communication
  • Customer service
  • Professional phone and email etiquette
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize
  • Dependability
  • Attention to detail

We believe in promoting job growth, so tasks may expand as one's desire and abilities justify. This is an amazing opportunity for a dedicated, hard-working person looking to start a professional career, particularly in a law firm setting.

Comp: Compensation depends upon experience/potential. We offer paid holidays, paid vacation time, a retirement plan, a quarterly bonus program, birthday's off, team building events, the Better Book Club, and free parking.

How to Apply: We will be checking you out when we get your résumé, so it's probably a good idea to go check us out before you apply. Here are all the details you should need to do that:
